2. Hosting, AI & Data Security

2.1. Hosting & Logfiles

When accessing the website, technically necessary data (IP address, browser, timestamp) are transmitted to our host provider Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Ireland).

Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (the legitimate interest lies in the technical optimization of performance, defense against cyber attacks, and a stable user experience worldwide).

Deletion: Log files are automatically deleted after 14 days, provided no security incidents are present.

2.2. Google Cloud CDN (Content Delivery Network)

To optimize loading times and increase the reliability of our website, we use the Google Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN) from Google Ireland Ltd.

Data: When delivering this content, technical connection data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to Google. Google acts as a technical service provider for us.

Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (the legitimate interest lies in the technical optimization of performance, defense against cyber attacks, and a stable user experience worldwide).

Third-country transfer: Google partially processes data in the USA. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google is certified), which guarantees an adequate level of data protection.

3. Tracking & Analysis (Website Visitors)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to improve our offer. This tool is loaded exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time via the cookie settings.

Used data: Anonymized IP address, duration of use, click paths.

Third-country transfer: Google partially processes data in the USA. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google is certified), which guarantees an adequate level of data protection.

4. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form or e-mail, we store these details including the contact data you provided for the purpose of processing the inquiry. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

5. Your Rights & Contact

You have the right to information, correction, deletion ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, and data portability.

Right of withdrawal: Insofar as the processing is based on your consent (e.g., tracking), you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

Right to object: If the data processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR).
